Meet The Owners
Courtside Sports Cafés is proudly owned and operated by brothers Logan and Thomas Bilby — two locals who grew up on the hardwood with the City of Sydney Basketball Association. Basketball has always been part of their lives. Logan has been an active member for over 25 years, rising through the ranks as a representative player and elite-level official. Thomas, in his early years, also played and officiated in the club. Together, they’ve built a deep bond with the community they now serve through food.
For Logan and Thomas, the café is more than just a business — it’s a way to give back to the place they call home. With a shared love of basketball, Logan’s experience as a player, referee, and referee manager, and Thomas’s passion for great coffee, the brothers were inspired by their upbringing and their mother, who ran food canteens for over 20 years. They’ve brought those lessons with them — quality food, friendly service, and a welcoming environment — and poured them into every corner of Courtside Sports Cafés.

Their vision is simple but powerful: to support the game-day experience, bring people together with good food, and help the next generation of athletes thrive. The café focuses on meals that are healthy, fresh and genuinely enjoyable — whether you are grabbing a coffee before the first whistle or recovering with a protein-packed meal after a hard-fought match.

But what truly sets Logan and Thomas apart is their community spirit. From fundraising and sponsorships to food drives and donation programs, they are committed to giving back in every way they can. As locals who know the faces that walk through the doors each week, their mission is to make the café feel warm, welcoming, and worth coming back to — a place where people can trust the food, the service and the people behind the counter.
Whether it’s your first time visiting or your hundredth, Logan and Thomas hope you leave with a full stomach and a smile — and maybe even a few memories that will last a lifetime.
